Amidst the fields of cane and rolling pastures in the stunning midlands countryside a powerful move of God began in place called Cool Air when a church called Smyrna Temple was built. What started off as a mission station those many years ago quickly became the place God chose to build a church which was named Smyrna temple. Steeped in a rich and dynamic history Smyrna today celebrates 45 years of ministry. A ministry that stood and still stands as a beacon of Christ’s love, hope, and peace. Smyrna was built on land donated by the Maistry family and opened on the 16 May 1966 by Pastor J.F Rowlands. And so began an illustrious ministry that touched multitudes. It is truly a blessing from God that has carried Smyrna through 45 years of Ministry. It is a tremendous milestone achieved only because of Gods infinite grace.
